This school year, Butterball has partnered with Weekly Reader to develop “Celebrate Agriculture” — a compelling set of classroom learning materials designed to educate children on agriculture and the socially responsible practices that lead to healthy animals, food and consumers. The program, designed for students in grades three through six, is aimed at providing fun, informative classroom activities that reinforce education standards and engage students in the learning process.

At Butterball, we pride ourselves on maintaining only the highest standards in agriculture. Through “Celebrate Agriculture,” Butterball provides teachers with engaging materials and activities that will build on Weekly Reader’s results-proven program and increase awareness about responsible agriculture practices, giving youth the power to understand their own nutrition and health.

Hey, kids!

Butterball has created a set of exciting new classroom activities so you can learn about the importance of agriculture. You’ll get fun facts about farming – turkeys in particular!

Ask your parents and teachers to look at the “Celebrate Agriculture” Weekly Reader downloads on this site to join in on the fun. Tell them that the educational guide even includes learning exercises – like math, word games and puzzles. Don’t worry, we promise we’ve kept it fun!
