Butterball® Serves Up New Turkey Sliders
May 20, 2013
Garner, N.C., (May 20, 2013) – According to a recent study, Americans are increasingly partaking in mini meals throughout the day. So, in honor of National Burger Month, Butterball is offering a new better-for-you option with the introduction of Every Day Turkey Sliders – perfect for a quick meal after school or to enjoy as an appetizer during spring and summertime get-togethers.
“We are excited to introduce the first-ever turkey slider product made with the same winning formula as our Every Day Frozen Turkey Burgers,” says Heather Sheffield, brand manager of innovation and licensing for Butterball. “This new, innovative addition to our lineup gives consumers a fun snack or appetizer perfect for many occasions – from a weeknight treat to a festive party.”
With 40 percent less fat than beef sliders, frozen turkey sliders are fully cooked with lean cuts of turkey that are perfectly seasoned on a sesame seed bun with cheese and ready to eat in 60 seconds. Four mini-sized sliders come individually packaged, making them convenient and perfect for busy families any day of the week.
Butterball Turkey Sliders are available in select retailers with prices ranging between $5.29 and $6.99.
