Listen Up! It's Time to Talk Turkey — Butterball Introduces the TurkeyTalk Podcast — Just in Time for Thanksgiving!
The Butterball Turkey Talk-Line® professionals have been answering questions on how to prepare holiday turkey for the past 26 years. While many things about Thanksgiving haven’t changed over time, the way that Americans get their advice about cooking their holiday bird has changed.
Introducing…Butterball TurkeyTalk, the first podcast dedicated to holiday meal preparation! This podcast series will consist of six episodes chock-full of turkey know-how, preparation advice, stories from the famed Butterball Turkey Talk-Line and more!
Episodes begin with the promo on October 30, and will be available for download at www.Butterball.com in the Holiday Guide section. With a “Five Minute Lesson” covering timely turkey topics such as thawing and leftovers, as well as other stories and advice, seasoned chefs and novice cooks alike will be able to listen and learn!

- Thursday, Nov. 2: Avoid turkey trauma with “Preparation 101” and a Thanksgiving checklist
- Thursday, Nov. 9: Preparation advice continues, with Preparation 102! Also covers tips for making it a holiday to remember for the entire family
- Thursday, Nov. 16: Focuses on thawing and food safety, as well as stories from the Talk-Line experts’ “first Thanksgivings!”
- Wednesday, Nov. 22: The Three “T’s” — Thaw, Temperature and Two-Hour Rule — and a discussion that debunks turkey myths
- Friday, Nov. 24: All you ever wanted to know about Thanksgiving leftovers
- Friday, Dec. 15: Making a December holiday bird and a “Turkey Top 10” list!
Butterball “Turkey Talk” podcasts will include:
