Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 cup diced green peppers
  • 1 cup diced red peppers
  • 2 pounds Butterball® Fresh Ground Turkey
  • 1 can (16 ounces) mild chili beans, undrained
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) fired-roasted diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 jar (12 ounces) Heinz turkey gravy
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 3/4 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Serving Suggestions
  1. Heat oil in large heavy saucepan on medium-high heat. Cook onions and garlic 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add peppers; cook 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  2. Add ground turkey. Cook until turkey is cooked through, stirring to break up into small pieces.

  3. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, 45 minutes.
