Barbecue Turkey Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 package (16 ounces) Butterball® Fresh Ground Turkey
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup hickory and brown sugar barbecue sauce
  • 1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • no-stick cooking spray
  • 4 hamburger buns, split and toasted

Serving Suggestions
  1. Combine turkey, onion, barbecue sauce, bread crumbs, salt and pepper until well blended. Shape into 4 patties about 1/2-inch thick.

  2. Spray cold grate of outdoor grill with cooking spray. Prepare grill for direct medium heat.

  3. Grill patties 5 to 6 minutes on each side or until they are no longer pink in the center and meat thermometer inserted in center reaches 165°F.

  4. Serve in buns.
