Oyster Stuffing

Oyster Stuffing made easy by using prepared canned oysters and quick to make stuffing mix.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup chopped celery
  • 3/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can (8 ounces) whole oysters
  • 2 2/3 cups reduced sodium chicken broth
  • 2 packages (6 ounces each) STOVE TOP Herb Stuffing Mix

Serving Suggestions
  1. Melt butter on medium heat in large saucepan.

  2. Add celery and onions. Cook and stir 8 to 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender-crisp.

  3. Meanwhile, drain oysters, reserving liquid. Chop oysters; set aside.

  4. Add both and reserved liquid from oysters to saucepan. Heat on medium heat to boiling. Stir in STOVE TOP and chopped oysters. Cover pan; remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff mixture with a fork before placing in a serving bowl.
