Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/4 pounds Butterball® Fresh Turkey Breast Filets
  • 1/2 ounce poultry seasoning
  • 3 cups sliced onion
  • 3/4 cup apple juice
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 6 cups cooked pasta, or rice
Directions
Serving Suggestions
  1. Heat olive oil in arge skillet on high heat.

  2. Season the filets evenly with 1 teaspoon of the poultry seasoning per side and cook until the seasoning is a light golden brown (but not cooked through), about 1 to 2 minutes per side. (If the filets do not all fit in the skillet, cook in 2 batches. Set aside.

  3. Add the onions and remaining seasoning mix. Stir well. Cover and cook 3 minutes. Stir, scraping bottom of the pan. Cook 3 additional minutes.

  4. Stir in apple juice. Cook until the juice thickens slightly, about 6 minutes.

  5. Stir in half and half. Bring to a boil. Return the filets to the pan. Simmer until they are no longer pink in the center, about 8 minutes.

  6. Place pasta or rice in a bowl. Pour gravy over and place the filets on top.

  7. Note: For a less seasoned dish, simply cut back the amount of poultry seasoning.
