Alice Coffey has been talking turkey for more than fourteen years. She has a bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition from Dominican University in Illinois. She now holds the title of Butterball® Turkey Talk-Line® expert and supervisor.

“The thing I enjoy most is problem solving. Unexpected guests, the pan is too small, the oven power is off, or the turkey juices are overflowing are all questions I’ve received. People need answers now, and they are so grateful for the answers I can give them.”
Most Memorable Call:
“One of my most memorable calls was a man whose wife had died within the last several months, and he was making a turkey for the first time. They had a convection oven, and he had never used it. I walked him through the steps, like finding the pan that she used, as well as some very basic cooking steps. He was very appreciative. He said his kids were going to be so proud that he kept up this tradition of the Thanksgiving meal for them!”
