Grilled Feta Burgers with Cucumber Raita

Ingredients

1 package (16 ounces) BUTTERBALL® Fresh Ground Turkey

2 teaspoons grated lemon peel

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon olive oil

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon black pepper

1 ounce feta cheese

4 slices tomato

4 whole wheat hamburger buns

CUCUMBER RAITA

1 cup plain nonfat yogurt

1/2 cup finely chopped cucumber

1 tablespoon minced fresh mint

1 clove garlic

1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • 1.
    Lightly coal grill grid with nonstick cooking spray. Prepare grill for direct cooking. Prepare Cucumber Raita.

    Combine turkey, lemon peel, oregano, oil, salt and pepper; mix well. Form into 8 (3/8-inch thick) patties on sheet of waxed paper. Make small depression in 4 patties; place one-quarter of cheese in each depression. Top with remaining patties, pressing edges to seal.
  • 3.
    Grill over medium heat, covered, 4 to 5 minutes per side (uncovered, 7 to 8 minutes per side), or until no longer pink and center of burgers reaches 165°F as measured with meat thermometer.Serve with Cucumber Raita and tomato slice on whole wheat bun.
