​Tender and juicy, Butterball Fresh Whole Turkeys are all natural, never frozen, gluten free, and raised without hormones on American farms, giving you the highest quality turkey for your holiday meal.

Preparation

Remove packaging, neck and plastic bag containing giblets (in neck cavity). Drain juices and dry turkey with paper towels.

Stuff turkey if desired. Combine stuffing ingredients just before using. Fill neck cavity; turn wings back to hold neck skin in place. Stuff body cavity and return legs to tucked position if they were untucked. No trussing is necessary.

Brush skin with vegetable oil or spray with non-stick cooking spray for best appearance. Additional basting is not necessary.

Storage

Keep refrigerated

Unopened: Can be stored until the sell-by date

Storing Fresh Turkey: Fresh turkey should be refrigerated at 35º F to 40º F. The lower temperature is preferred. Cook as soon as possible (no later than the sell-by date) to ensure maximum freshness. If you are not confident about the temperature of your refrigerator, cook or freeze the turkey within 4 days of purchase.

Storage of Leftovers: Carve leftover turkey into pieces before refrigerating to speed cooling.  Refrigerate carved leftovers within 1 hour of eating. Use leftover turkey within 3 days.
