Mediterranean Turkey Burger
Ingredients
- 2 packages (16 ounces each) Farm to Family® by BUTTERBALL® Fresh All-Natural Ground Turkey Breast
- 1 package (6 ounces) crumbled feta cheese
- 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill, divided, plus more to serve
- 2-½ teaspoons kosher salt, divided
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 cup whole milk Greek yogurt
- 1 cup finely chopped English cucumber
- ½ teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 6 seeded hamburger buns
- 6 fresh dill sprigs
- 6 curly leaf lettuce leaves
- 6 large slices tomato
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with heavy-duty foil. Lightly spray foil with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine turkey, cheese, 1 tablespoon chopped dill, 2 teaspoons salt, garlic and pepper. (Be careful not to overmix.) Form mixture into 6 (6-ounce) patties. Place patties on prepared baking sheet.
- Bake patties for 10 minutes then drain any excess moisture from the pan.
- Increase oven temperature to broil, then broil patties on the center rack until golden brown, about 5 to 7 minutes. Using an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of the patty, your temperature should read 165°F. Let cool for 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, combine yogurt, cucumber, lemon zest and juice, remaining 2 teaspoons chopped dill and ½ teaspoon salt.
- On bottom half of each bun, layer yogurt sauce, dill sprigs, lettuce, tomato and burger. Top each Farm to Family Mediterranean Turkey Burger with top half of each bun.
