Grilled Turkey and Brie Sandwich

Ingredients

4 slices sourdough or artisanal bread (about ½ inch thick)

4 teaspoons plus 1 tablespoon butter, divided

¼ cup pepper jelly, at room temperature

pound sliced BUTTERBALL® Deli Oven Roasted Turkey

2 slices (1 ounces each) brie cheese, thickly sliced

1 brunch fresh arugula, stems removed

Directions

  • 1.
    Spread each of 4 slices of bread with 1 teaspoon butter. Top 2 of the slices of bread with pepper jelly.
  • 2.
    Top buttered slices of bread with half of turkey, 1 slice of Brie, and ½ of arugula. Top with pepper-butter slices of bread. Butter the outside of sandwich slices.
  • 3.
    Heat large cast-iron or other heavy skillet over medium-low heat. Add remaining 1 tablespoon butter; evenly coat bottom pan. Add sandwiches; cook 2 to 3 minutes or until bread is golden brown and cheese begins to melt. Flip and cook 2 to 3 minutes to brown bread. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve warm.
