PREPARATION

DO NOT DEEP FRY.

DO NOT THAW. NO BRINE NEEDED.

COOK DIRECTLY FROM FROZEN

Preheat oven to 350°F

Remove frozen turkey from outer bag. Release the inner package by cutting under metal closure clip to remove turkey roast. To loosen wrapping, run product under cold water for a minute and massage.

Place turkey onto an oven safe pan. Butterball recommends a shallow, 2” roasting pan. Do not cover or add water. Spray your pan with non-stick cooking spray or oil before adding the turkey breast roast for easy clean-up.

Roast under direct heat for roughly 2 hours (roasting time will vary by oven). Turkey is done when internal temperature reaches 165°F. When testing the temperature of the roast, it is important to check in multiple spots for accurate temperature results and safe eating.

Remove from oven. Rest 10-15 minutes in pan. Consider covering with foil and top with a clean kitchen towel to keep warm while finishing up your side dishes.

Slice and serve.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I cook the Cook from Frozen Breast Roast?

We recommend a convention oven set at 350°F and placing your roast in a shallow roasting pan with about 2 inches depth. You do not need to cover the roast or use a roasting rack. A disposable pan works as well, as long as it’s about 2 inches deep.

Oops! I accidentally thawed the Butterball Cook from Frozen Breast Roast. Is it still okay to cook?

Yes, you can roast this product if it’s accidentally thawed, but it will roast faster than indicated on the package. If your roast has been safely thawed, Butterball recommends roasting in a Convention Oven set to 325°F, until the end temperature of 165°F is reached. Cook times will vary by oven.

Can I season the Butterball Cook from Frozen Breast Roast?

It’s already brined and seasoned, so no extra seasoning is needed. However, optional customization herbs and spices can be added to create your own unique flavor profile. Simply add the desired seasoning to the raw turkey after brushing or spraying with oil.

Can I cook the Butterball Cook from Frozen Breast Roast in a convection oven, air fryer or microwave?

No, it is not recommended. Please use a conventional oven for the best result.

What is the best way to ensure my Butterball Cook from Frozen Breast Roast is fully cooked and safe to eat?

Always use a meat thermometer to check for doneness. The Butterball Cook From Frozen Breast Roast is fully cooked and safe to eat when the internal temperature reaches 165°F in multiple spots.
