Ingredients
SAUCE
1 cup sliced green onions
6 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
⅓ cup minced garlic
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme
1 tablespoon black pepper
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1½ teaspoons ground red pepper
1½ teaspoons red pepper flakes
1½ teaspoons sea salt
2¼ cups dark beer
1 cup whipping cream
¾ cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter, softened
¾ cup chopped fresh cilantro
½ cup chopped fresh chives
TURKEY
4½ cups hot cooked rice
1½ pounds sliced leftover cooked BUTTERBALL® Turkey, heated
Directions
- 1.Combine green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, chili powder, rosemary, thyme, black pepper, oregano, ground red pepper, red pepper flakes and salt in medium saucepan; mix well. Add beer; mix well. Cover; bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, until reduced by one fourth.
- 2.Add cream; mix well. Remove from heat; add butter and stir until melted. Stir in cilantro and chives. Keep warm.
- 3.Place rice in serving bowl; top with turkey slices. Spoon sauce over turkey.
