Ingredients

  • 1 ounce dark beer
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 package BUTTERBALL® Smoked Turkey Dinner Sausage, each link cut in half
  • 4 each hot dog buns
  • 4 tablespoon whole grain mustard
  • SAUERKRAUT
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/3 cup dark beer
  • 2 teaspoon firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 2 cup sauerkraut

Directions

  1. Preheat grill to medium direct heat.
  2. Combine beer and honey in a large saucepan. Bring to boiling on medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add sausage; reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes. Drain sausage.
  3. Grill sausage according to package directions until golden brown on all sides. Remove from grill. Cut sausage into 4 equal pieces.
  4. Spread cut surfaces of buns with mustard. Place one sausage piece in each bun. Top with sauerkraut mixture and serve.
