Lemon-Broccolini One-Pot Pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 package (13 ounces) BUTTERBALL® Natural Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage, cut on the bias into ½-inch pieces
4 cloves garlic, smashed
2½ cups low-sodium chicken broth
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
½ package (16 ounces) uncooked penne pasta
1 pound fresh broccolini, chopped
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, plus additional for garnish
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1.Heat oil in large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add sausage; cook, stirring occasionally, about 8 minutes or until browned. Remove sausage using slotted spoon; drain on paper towels.
- 2.Add garlic to pot; cook about 1 minute or until fragrant. Add broth, salt and pepper; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium. Add pasta; cover and cook about 11 minutes or until tender, adding broccolini during last 3 minutes of cooking. Stir in sausage, 1 cup cheese and lemon juice. Garnish with additional cheese.
