Ingredients
NACHOS
3 tablespoons canola oil
2 tablespoons lime juice
1-½ teaspoons garlic powder
¾ teaspoon ground cumin
¾ teaspoon dried oregano
¼ teaspoon sea salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
3-½ cups shredded leftover cooked BUTTERBALL® Turkey
¼ cup diced green bell pepper
¼ cup diced onion
4 cups tortilla chips, warmed
¼ cup fresh cilantro
¼ cup sliced green onions
¼ cup diced tomatoes
2 tablespoons sour cream
QUESO SALSA
1 cup pasteurized prepared cheese product
¼ cup salsa
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¾ cup evaporated milk
Directions
- 1.For Nachos, combine oil, lime juice and spices in large bowl. Add turkey, bell pepper and onion. Pour mixture into large resealable food storage bag. Marinate in refrigerator 1 hour, turning occasionally.
- 2.Heat large skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated mixture. Cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes or until turkey is heated through and vegetables are tender-crisp.
- 3.Meanwhile, for Queso Salsa, combine cheese product, salsa, paprika, hot pepper sauce and garlic powder in small bowl.
- 4.Bring evaporated milk to a simmer in medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in cheese mixture. Simmer until cheese is melted, stirring frequently. Keep warm.
- 5.Place warm tortilla chips on large serving platter. Spoon hot turkey mixture evenly over chips. Top with Queso Salsa. Sprinkle with cilantro, green onions and tomatoes. Top with sour cream.
