Sauteed Pears with Maple Mascarpone Cream
¼ cup mascarpone cheese
2 tablespoons maple syrup
2 Bartlett pears
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon butter
- 1.Combine mascarpone cheese and maple syrup in small bowl.
- 2.Cut pears in half. Core and peel. Place in large microwavable dish. Add water; microwave on HIGH 5 minutes or until softened.
- 3.Melt butter in large skillet over medium-low heat. Add pears; cook 5 minutes or until slightly browned on edges.
- 4.Place 2 pear halves on serving dish. Top with mascarpone cream. Serve immediately.
