Ingredients

¼ cup mascarpone cheese

2 tablespoons maple syrup

2 Bartlett pears

1/4 cup water

1 tablespoon butter

Directions

  • 1.
    Combine mascarpone cheese and maple syrup in small bowl.
  • 2.
    Cut pears in half. Core and peel. Place in large microwavable dish. Add water; microwave on HIGH 5 minutes or until softened.
  • 3.
    Melt butter in large skillet over medium-low heat. Add pears; cook 5 minutes or until slightly browned on edges.
  • 4.
    Place 2 pear halves on serving dish. Top with mascarpone cream. Serve immediately.
